How we use it
We use the data above to operate Revolt: signing you in, showing your profile and content, ranking the feed (non-personalized for minors), attributing visits to the curator whose vouch sent you, and paying curators their share. First-party attribution only — your own taps inside Revolt.
What we never do
We do not track you across other apps or websites, do not sell personal data, do not build advertising profiles, and do not use advertising identifiers. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do nothing that requires one.
Minors (13–17)
Revolt is 13+. Under-13 sign-ups are blocked. Users 13–17 get a non-personalized feed, a private-by-default profile, no nighttime notifications, and their data is never sold or used for content analysis. Minors cannot enable Curator tools and never accrue reservations. (CA SB 976 / NY SAFE for Kids alignment.)
Content analysis disclosure
Posts and comments are screened automatically (and may be reviewed manually) for the safety policies in our Terms before they are shown to others, using an automated content-safety service (Anthropic). Future object analysis covers brands, objects, and settings — never face or person identification.
Payments & payouts
Card details go directly to Stripe; subscriptions run through Apple. Curator payouts use Stripe Connect — Stripe collects identity (KYC) information directly under its own privacy policy. Our processors: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Stripe (payments and payouts), Mux (video), Apple (sign-in and subscriptions), Anthropic (content-safety screening). Each receives only what its job requires; none may use your content for their own purposes. [ATTORNEY: confirm DPA status with each processor.]
Your controls & deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. Delete your account in Settings → Delete account: profile, posts, comments, vouches, and follows are removed; transaction and payout records are retained as long as financial regulations require. [ATTORNEY: confirm retention schedule.]
State privacy rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. California CCPA/CPRA, Florida FDBR, EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to non-discrimination for exercising them. Contact privacy@getrevolt.app; we respond within the legally required window. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. [ATTORNEY: state-specific disclosures.]
